Dian Hong Nan Lu Hong Cha

Red tea “Dianhong – Southern Road” from Fengqing County (Yunnan Province).

In appearance: medium-sized, dark-brown flagella of twisted tips with reddish down. The fragrance is restrained, woody with a fruity note. The liquor is transparent, with a bright reddish-chestnut shade.

The bouquet of ready-made tea is warm and vivid, fruity and woody, with notes of honey, bergamot and rye bread. The aroma is rich, fruity with a honey accent. The taste is strong, sweetish, a bit astringent, with a fine berry sourness and spicy nuances, transforming into the refreshing finish.

Steep the tea in a hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or in a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6-7 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 20 seconds. After that do short steeps (10 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 6 times.
