Red tea “Xiao Zhong Oolong” from the Wuyi tea region. Autumn shoots of the Oolong variety were used as raw materials.
In appearance: medium-sized, thin, dark brown flagella of twisted tea leaves. The fragrance is deep, spicy-and-fruity. The liquor is transparent, with a red-chestnut shade.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is warm and bright, spicy-and-fruity, with biscuit, citrus and honey notes. The aroma is deep and warm, fruity; cold aroma is sweet, fruity-floral. The taste is rich and juicy, a bit tart, sweetish, with fine fruit acidity and refreshing finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 8 times.
Red tea “Xiao Zhong Oolong” is a great choice for an emotional reboot: bright, juicy, fragrant. The effect is warming, moderately tonic, in low concentration – relaxing.
