“Milanxiang Chunmi Qingfeng” was made in Chaozhou County (Guangdong Province). Harvest: late autumn 2024. Moderate fermentation, medium heat.
In appearance: burgundy-brown, curved tea leaves, longitudinally twisted, with thin stalks. The aroma is intense, floral and berry. The infusion is transparent, light greenish-mustard shade.
The flavour profile of the ready-made tea is bright, complex, herbaceous and floral, with notes of honey, citrus, fresh berries and spices. The aroma is intense, high, floral and berry. The taste is dense, silky, slightly tart, sweetish, with a sourness of bergamot, nuances of spices and a persistent aftertaste.
Steep the tea in a hot water (92-95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 30 seconds. After that do short steeps (5-7 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea 7 times.
