“Big Red Robe” from “Meidong” tea farm (Wuyishan tea region, Fujian province).
In appearance: medium-sized, dark brown flagella of twisted tea leaves. The fragrance is deep, pastry. The liquor is transparent, with a dark amber shade.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is warm, spicy-and-pastry, with roasted and fruity notes. The aroma is deep and warm. The taste is soft, oily, slightly spicy, with a light minerality, fine fruit acidity and refreshing finish.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6-7 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 8-10 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 second), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 5 times.
The effect is warming, moderately tonic, in low concentration – relaxing.
