Guizhou Tie Guanyin

“Tie Guanyin” from Guizhou Province, spring harvest 2023.

In appearance: medium-sized clumps of twisted tea shoots, olive green, with small stems. The aroma is restrained, floral. The liquor is transparent, with a light green shade.

The bouquet of brewed tea is fresh, floral-herbaceous with spicy, milky and berry notes. The aroma is tender, floral-herbaceous. The taste is dense, silky, sweetish, with a slight astringency of grape skins, berry sourness and refreshing finish.

Steep the tea in a hot water (85-90°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10 seconds. After that do short steeps (2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8 times.

The effect is refreshing, soft tonic.
