«Da Hong Pao Jinping» («Big Red Robe from Jinping») is a blend of different Yan Cha varieties, harvested 2013-2018, made at Jinping tea farm (high fermentation).
In appearance: medium-sized, dark brown flagella of twisted leaves. The fragrance is deep, with a roasted accent. The liquor is transparent, with a chestnut shade.
The bouquet of the tea infusion is bright and warm, with hints of roasted bread, spices and baked fruit. The aroma is deep and rich, complex. The taste is full-bodied and juicy, a bit astringent, sweetish, with delicate fiery bitterness and a warm yet refreshing finish.
Brew tea with hot water (98°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 5 times.
