Oolong «Bei Dou» («Big Dipper») from Yunlong tea farm.
In appearance: middle-sized, curved, lengthwise twisted brown leaves. The aroma is intensive, spicy-biscuit. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of golden almond.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is warm, multifaceted, with notes of spicy herbs, toasted biscuit, nuts, flowers and fruits. The aroma is warm and deep, complex. The taste is juicy, smooth and sweet, a bit astringent, with mineral notes and long lingering aftertaste.
Brew tea with hot boiling water (90-95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 6-7 times.
Oolong «Bei Dou» is a great choice for a gungfucha style. We especially recommend it to those Wuyi oolong lovers who appreciate its delicate floral range.
