Menghai Yesheng Puer (2017)

Shu Puer «Yesheng» («Wild tea») from Menghai County, harvest 2017.

In appearance: large flagella of brown leaves with thin cuttings. The aroma is restrained, woody. The infusion is transparent, with a chestnut shade.

The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature, woody, with notes of spicy herbs, rustic bread and baked chestnut. The aroma is warm and viscose, woody-and-spicy. The taste is smooth and full-bodied, velvety, with a slight woody tartness and spicy nuances in the aftertaste.

Brew tea with hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or in a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 6-8 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5-7 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 6 times.

Shu Puer «Yesheng» is a good choice to boost your daytime energy.
