Under the stars, Sheng puer, Moychay (harvest 2022, pressed in 2023), 250 g

A 250-gram tea briquette, pressed tightly; on the break there are gray-brown flagella of twisted tea leaves, silver-beige buds and thin cuttings. The aroma is intense, spicy-nutty with a hint of smoke. The infusion is transparent, with a shade of white grapes.

The bouquet of the ready-made tea is multifaceted, spicy-herbaceous with floral, fruity and nutty notes. The aroma is intense, spicy-fruity with a smoky note. The taste is dense and smooth, oily, sweet, slightly astringent, with the sourness of green apple, nuances of spices and a lingering finish.

Brew tea with hot water (87-92°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 15 seconds. After that do short steeps (2-3 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9 times.

“Under the stars” is an excellent Raw Puer – vivid, multifaceted, meditative.
