Xingren Xiang Dancong Lingmei (Almond Flavor)

Highly fermented oolong from Lingmei tea farm (Chaozhou County), harvest 2023. Autumn shoots of Xingrenxiang tea trees from high mountain gardens were used as raw materials.

In appearance: thin, lilac-brown flagella of twisted tea leaves. The aroma is intense, berry-floral. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of white grapes.

The bouquet of the ready-made tea is bright, multifaceted, floral and berry with honey, nutty, spicy and citrus notes. The aroma is delicate, floral. The taste is refined, oily, sweetish, with the delicate tartness of grape skins, citrus sourness (with overexposure turns into bitterness) and a lingering finish.

Steep the tea in a hot water (85-90°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a porous clay teapot. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 12-15 seconds. After that do short steeps (2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8 times.

“Xingren Xiang Dancong Lingmei” is a great Chaozhou Oolong with a multifaceted flavor, enchanting aroma and a meditative effect. It is an excellent choice for a gongfucha ceremony.
