A 100-gram tea cake of medium density, separates into small, brown, curled leaves and reddish buds. The aroma is restrained, woody. The infusion is transparent with a chestnut shade.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is mature, woody, with notes of unfired clay, walnut, oak moss, rotten leaves and camphor. The aroma is low, woody-balsamic. The taste is soft, velvety, sweetish, pleasantly tart, with a slight fruity sourness.
Steep the tea in a hot water (95°C) in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 7 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 15 seconds. Then, starting with an exposure of 3-5 seconds and increasing the time to 3 minutes, you can steep the tea 7 times.
Ripe Puer “Yue Lao Yue Hao” is a good choice as everyday tea. The effect is warming, soft tonic.
