Jin Mudan Hong Cha (red oolong Red Peony)

Red tea from Fujian province made from spring shoots of Jin Mudan (Golden Peony) tea variety.

In appearance: small, thin flagella of dark brown tea tips. The fragrance is restrained, fruity. The liquor is transparent, with an amber color.

The bouquet of the ready-made tea is warm, woody-and-fruity with floral and biscuit hints. The aroma is intensive, fruity-floral. The taste is full-bodied and smooth, gliding, sweetish, with a slight fruity sourness and refreshing finish.

Steep the tea in a hot water (95°C) in a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 20 seconds. After that starting with an exposure of 10 seconds and bringing the time to 2 minutes, you can steep the tea 5 more times.

“Jin Mudan Hong Cha” is an excellent choice for an emotional reset in the afternoon. The effect is warming, moderately tonic.
