Xue Wu Ye Lingmei

Highly fermented oolong from Chaozhou, autumn harvest of 2023. Shoots of Wuye tea trees were used as raw materials.

In appearance: thin, lilac-brown flagella of twisted tea leaves. The aroma is intense, fruity-floral. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of white grapes.

The bouquet of the ready-made tea is bright, multifaceted, fruity-floral with spicy, biscuit, berry and citrus notes. The aroma is delicate, fruity-and-berry. The taste is refined, oily, sweetish, tart, with a refined citrus sourness (turns bitter when overexposed) and a lingering finish.

Steep the tea in a hot water (85-90°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a porous clay teapot. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 15 seconds. After that do short steeps (2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8 times.

“Xue Wu Ye Lingmei” is a superb Chaozhou oolong with a rich multifaceted taste and strong tonic effect.
